Our adventure cruises begin in West Palm Beach, Florida, and we take a maximum of 12 passengers to explore the ocean waters where dolphins live. You’ll spend a whole week sleeping onboard the boat, spending sun-drenched days playing in the water or relaxing in the sun, and spending tropical nights anchored under the stars. Our friendly and helpful crew are experienced professionals dedicated to making your adventure unforgettable. We’ll take care of cooking, cleaning, and ensuring you have the time of your life.

Make your dolphin dream a reality. Come with us to the Bahamas.

This is a moderate activity trip, it’s important to note that guests should have basic swimming and snorkeling skills. However, if you need any instruction or tips for your ocean encounters, we’re here to help. It’s crucial to have good quality and well-fitting snorkeling equipment, which we can provide if needed. After all, you don’t want to miss out on playing with dolphins due to a leaky mask or snorkel. Keep in mind that boat life requires climbing a ladder from the water and one flight of stairs to reach the cabins.

If you’re interested in swimming with the Spotted Dolphin of Bimini Bahamas, your host Captain Scott Smith is the right person to introduce you to them. He first swam with wild dolphins in the Bahamas in 1980 and has spent more hours in the water with wild Spotted dolphins than anyone. Thanks to his love and respect for these creatures, he has developed a unique relationship with them. Captain Scott was instrumental in getting these dolphins to open up to humans, and now they join him and his passengers for games like pass the scarf or the occasional petting. It’s worth mentioning that all this is done with completely wild dolphins, with no training or feeding involved. Captain Scott has identified, documented, and cataloged four generations with the same groups of dolphins.

Living on a boat might concern some people, especially if they’re worried about seasickness. However, seasickness is not as big of a concern as you might think. Our vessel is a heavy and stable boat, which reduces our seasick customer percentage to below 5%. Also, at night, we anchor in a calm protected area under the stars. Finally, if you’re traveling from the US, it’s worth noting that the Dolphin Dream departs from Florida, saving you the extra flights and cost of traveling to the Bahamas.
